Following the conclusion of their tenth annual Bench Jeweler Workshop, Stuller Inc. reported an increase in jeweler enthusiasm and attendance.
The workshop featured two full days of classroom seminars covering a range of topics including basic diamond grading and working with white metals, interactive demonstrations from industry professionals including Kate Wolf and GemOro and plenty of networking opportunities. Jewelers traveled to Louisiana from all across the country, including California and Maine.
Long-time customers and workshop attendees, Jerry and Tammy Northcutt and their daughter, Heather Kutzman of Artisan Jewelry Co. in Sharpsburg, Georgia try to make the event an annual trip. “We love learning about all these new products and techniques to keep our business current and make our lives easier,” said Kutzman, the store manager.
Bennett’s Gems and Jewelry in Belfast, Maine sent their youngest jeweler to the workshop after learning they were the winners of Stuller’s “Win a Trip to Workshop” Facebook promotion. “I didn’t know what to expect, but this event really blew me away,” said Lauren Goldreich. “Between the warmth of the area and the warmth of the people, this [experience] really opened up the jewelry world for me.”
