Petra Diamonds Plans To Move

Petra Diamonds plans to move to the main board of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in December, the company reported.

The company explained that it would start trading on the main market shortly after December 8, at which time it would cancel its listing on the LSE’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

Petra Diamonds, which owns diamond mines in South Africa, saw revenues rise 35 percent year on year to $220.6 million during its fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2011, having sold 1,17 million carats during the year.
