NYSJA’s Golf Event Raises $25K for Scholarship Program

Jewelers for Children Donations Reach $500

The New York State Jewelers Association (NYSJA) held its Second Annual Golf Outing recently and attendees raised $25,000 for the NYSJA Scholarship Program. Canisters placed throughout the golf course for Jewelers for Children donations raised an additional $500 for the industry’s national charity. The outing was held at the Mount Kisco Country Club in Mount Kisco, New York and was sponsored by the NYSJA.

The event was attended by numerous jewelry professionals and sponsored by Baume & Mercier, Pandora Jewelry, Manhattan Gold & Silver, Roberto Coin, Raymond Weil and HKM Associates. Many companies also purchased pin flags and t-box signs, which were placed throughout the course.

NYSJA also reintroduced the “Favorite Awards,” voted on by the NYSJA members. The Favorite Advertising Sales Representative was awarded to Helen McGinley from GQ magazine. The Favorite Watch Sales Representative was Melanie Chud from Michele Watches. Stefani Ash, from David Yurman, received the Favorite Jewelry Sales Representative award and Tourneau was voted Favorite Retail Store.

First Place Golf Event Winners were members of the Viewpoint Showroom group: Scott Fenton, from ViewPoint; plus Jon Landsberg and Rick Blank from Landsberg Jewelers.
