Israeli diamond dealers showing in Hong Kong are reportedly satisfied with the traffic at the Israel Diamond Industry pavilion.
The diamantaires report that buyers have arrived from countries including China, India, and Australia and that all kinds of goods have been successful.
IDI Chairman Moti Ganz and other representatives of the IDI have conducted a number of interviews with the industry media, with the purpose of presenting the Israeli Diamond Industry as one of the leading ones in the world.
In addition, Ganz and IDI representatives have met with the exhibition management to discuss plans for 2013. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the productive activity. The TDC directors promised to do everything possible to allot more space to the IDI at the next show.
Ganz also met with heads of UBM, the company that produces the expo, to try and combine both pavilions at the September 2012 show. It appears that, as in the past, any company wanting to show will be able to do so, and many established diamond companies will be able to show in the main pavilion.
