Buxbaum Jewelry Advisors is coordinating a “trade only” sale of inventory from a well known estate jewelry house in New York this week. The inventory includes what the firm bills as an “extraordinary collection” of more than 2,000 pieces of antique and estate jewelry.
”This offering of highly-collectible and sought after fine jewelry consists of an amazing lot of nearly 400 pieces of signed jewels by the likes of Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Boucheron, Chaumet, Goublin, and others,” said Michael Lebowitz, the vice president of Buxbaum Jewelry Advisors. ”Other lots are comprised of significant groupings of period and fine quality jewels, as well as one lot of cultured pearls, South Sea pearls, and Tahitians.”
The collection also includes trays of Art Deco platinum and diamond bracelets, vintage diamond engagement rings, fine sapphire, ruby and emerald jewelry, ”all assembled by a discerning eye over decades,” stated Stevan Buxbaum, the president of Buxbaum Jewelry Advisors. ”This collection has never been seen in its entirety in the marketplace and offers an opportunity for a once in a lifetime acquisition.”
Qualified bidders may view the collection beginning March 19, for a limited time. Inventory will be sold to the highest bidders in a sealed bid “Dutch auction” format.
