The Diamond Dealers Club of South Africa has re-elected its board of directors for a new term, appointing Ernest Blom as its chairman. Lionel Noach was elected vice-chairman.
Blom, who is a vice president and honorary life president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourse’s (WFDB), has served as the organization’s chairman since 2003. For a brief period the Diamond Dealers Club merged with the Diamond Manufacturers Association of South Africa to form the South African Diamond Council. The two groups split again recently.
”’With this re-election of its board of directors, the Diamond Dealers Club of South Africa has confirmed its steady course,” said Avi Paz, WFDB’s president. “I am sure that it will continue to play an active and visible role in the WFDB and will continue to advance its interests.”
