Baguette Cut Diamonds

The baguette shape diamond is a basic version of the emerald cut diamond developed for diamonds usually less than 5mm in length. Baguette diamonds are designed to accompany a centre diamond or in wedding bands and can be either straight cut or tapper cut to suit the design requirements. Like the emerald cut diamond the baguette has a large rectangular step type facet design and is best displayed using high quality colour and clarity diamonds. When dealing with several baguette cut diamonds calibration is essential as nothing will ruin a beautiful piece of jewellery than one where the diamonds are not the same size and proportion.
