Two men suspected of cheating an Indian diamond dealer of over $950,000 have been arrested, the Times of India reports.
The two men allegedly bought rough diamonds from Ashapura Exim. When they initially began conducting business with him, they paid regularly, but in September 2008 began buying the diamonds on credit.
When Exim realized that they had stopped paying, he refused to supply them diamonds on credit. The suspects reportedly refused to return the diamonds or pay. Exim went to the police, who arrested the two men currently in custody. Two other suspects are still at large.
